Zody, Kenneth Ray, age 79, passed away on July 18, 2014 in Plant City, Florida. He was born in Nashville, IN. on March 22, 1935 to Howard S. and Sarah Alice (Robertson) Zody. He married Susie (Crabtree) on Dec. 23, 1956 at the Nashville Christian Church in Indiana. Kenneth was a US Air force veteran for six years before he started his teaching career. Mr. Zody first started teaching in a one-room schoolhouse in Nashville, Indiana then moved on to the Nashville High School. After a few years, Kenneth moved to the Metropolitan School District of Warren Township in Indianapolis where he was a Principal and retired in 1990 as an Assistant Superintendent of the School district. Memberships include the American Legion and Indiana University Alumni Association. Mr. Zody had many adventures during his life, and was an avid fisherman, and for over 10 years enjoyed ballroom dancing half-way around the world with his favorite partner and wife of 58 years Susie. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Susie, two daughters, Kimberly K. Zody, Karri Beth Bomberger (Rick), a son, Joseph H. Zody, four grandsons, Blake Giant, Spencer McNelly, Sumner Zody, Hudson Zody, four granddaughters, Meredith King (Michael), Allie McNelly, Whitney Herring (Kenderic), and Zyla Zody, two great grandchildren, Karson and Haeven Herring, four brothers, Richard Zody (Marilyn), Frank Zody (Brenda), Marrie Zody (Avis), John Zody (Rebecca), and a sister-in-law, Karen Zody.
