LaFane was a wonderful, sweet lady. She was alway concerned about others. I remember her visits. She would always ask how I was doing and how my wife Pat was doing. She seemed to always be thankful for her family taking good care of her. She will be sorely missed by her earthly family and friends but I’m sure she is happy in heaven rejoining Charles.
It was an honor to has known her.

Aunt LaFane, Uncle Herman, Sheila and Brenda came into my life in 1966 when I married their nephew, Elton. I always remember Aunt LaFane “running a tight ship” and Uncle Herman smiling or laughing. They were the perfect couple. We visited several times, even going to the “fish camp” and catching and eating those fish. Once we went to the beach and found a water faucet to rinse off with only to discover it was an artisan well. Cold! Shrieks and screams, but fun. The day ended with homemade vanilla ice cream. I am so thankful for these beautiful people and beautiful memories. They’re enjoying their time together. We will join them later. Love to all. Bettye Keaton
