She was a life long resident of Plant City, where she owned and operated Mid-State Tractor Parts for many years. She never met a stranger and was always willing to go above and beyond to help others. Some of her favorite hobbies and past times were tending to the plants and flowers in her yard (she had a green thumb, that was second to none), spending time in Richloam with her family and friends, the beach, lake, cruises, and taking care of and loving on her family. Family was most important to her. She enjoyed all holidays because it meant spending time cooking, laughing, and enjoying meals with those who meant the most to her. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. For many years she decorated her home and yard and had a toy fundraiser for those less fortunate and she always looked forward to that each year. She was always giving to others, never worrying about herself.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie D. Brannon and Shirley Cornell and Charles Cornell. Her beloved brother-in-law, Eugene Pippin, and sister-in-law, Linda Brannon.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her constant companion, Carlos “Buddy” Mullis, her children, Ronnie D. Simpson (Tiffany), Rene’ Miller (Jerry); grandchildren, Noah Dooley, Alexis Woosley (Tylar), Madison Simpson (Joel), and Ronnie N. Simpson; great-grandchildren, Kamden Tice and Lennox Woosley; siblings, Dianne Pippin, Danny Brannon (Patty), and James Brannon; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
