Linnie Mae Hunter, age 82, of Lithia, FL, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. She was a member of Springhead Church of Christ. She loved her children, grandchildren, and family. She also loved to sing, fish, and make quilts.
Linnie was preceded in death by her husband, Velton Hunter. Survivors include four sons: Velton Edward Hunter of Zephyrhills, FL, Jerry Bruce Hunter, Rex Andrew Hunter (Phyllis) and William Carl Hunter, all of Lithia, FL; one daughter, Linda Dianne Wilkes (Joel) of Lakeland, FL; three brothers: Paul, Donald and Buel Lunsford; one sister, Myrtle Campbell, 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation with family and friends will be 6pm to 8pm Monday, September 19, 2016 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home in Plant City. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 also at Wells Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Welcome Cemetery in Lithia, FL.
