Margie Nantz Ballard, 87, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015. She was born March 6, 1928 to the late William and Lucy (Bollinger) Nantz. She lived in Gastonia, NC until moving to Florida in 2011.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, David Ballard of West Union, SC, Judy Duncan of Gastonia, NC and Sylvia Baker of Lakeland, FL; twenty grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Ballard; four brothers and one granddaughter.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Berea Baptist Church, Gastonia. Dr. Rick Ivey will preside. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
