HERRING, Marilyn Clark, 81 of Dover, FL passed away at her home on Monday, September 12, 2016. She was born on September 29, 1934 in Dover, FL to Clarence Frederick Clark and Lucy Haddix Clark. Marilyn worked as a cigar packer. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Purity Church, and was a caregiver to all of those she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Herring; her siblings and her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Herring, Karen Sakelaris (Pat); and one grandson Patrick Sakelaris.
Visitation with family and friends will be 5pm to 7pm Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, with funeral service at 10am Friday, September 16, 2016, at Wells Memorial. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Randy Tew, David Jaudon, Andrew Evans, Christopher Miller, Jr., Derek Evans, and Jesse Miller
