She was of the Pentecostal faith. Her hobbies included gardening, dancing, playing cards and Yahtzee, crafting and interior decorating. She was very much a people person and loved church and family gatherings the most.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 35 years; Euel Douglas Baxter; sisters, Judy Ann Watkins, Rosa Lee Simpson, Shirley Jean Cornell, and Betty Lou Lemaster. She is survived by her children; Sandy Hogan (Allen) of Plant City, Paul Baxter (Maria) of Wisconsin, and Patrick Baxter of Plant City, grandchildren; Shannon Hogan, Marcus Hogan, Starr Brothers, Kayla Hogan, Alexis Hogan, Erica Baxter, Jacob Baxter, Jeffery Baxter, Tia Baxter, Aaron Baxter, Patrick Baxter, Jr., Brandy Baxter, Matthew Baxter, and Michael Baxter; 23 great grandchildren; her sisters; Johnnie Ruth Leamon and Patsy Ann Watkins, brother; Wayne Preston, and many other extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 West Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida and a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Auburndale Memorial Park, Auburndale, Florida.
