Mary Ellen Sharp Moore Schubert,peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, May 1, 2011, after a short illness. She was born in Andersonville, TN and moved to Plant City, FL in 1957 and was employed by Publix Supermarkets for 28 years. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Thomas (Tommy) Moore, one sister Lillie Hutson, and four brothers, Charles Sharp, Claude Sharp, Earl Sharp, and George Sharp. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gene F. Schubert, two sons, Phillip E. Moore (Charlene D. Moore) and Lee F. Schubert of Plant City, Fl. and one step daughter, Carole Thompson of Show Low, AZ, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, 1-2pm with funeral services 2:00pm at Eastside Baptist Church, Plant City, with Rev. Dennis DeMarois officiating. Interment will follow at West Oaklawn Cemetery, Plant City.
