Mavis Jeanette Herndon

She was an active member of Eastside Baptist Church in Plant City for over 60 years. She was known to all as ‘Grannie’ and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jeanette was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers. She loved cooking for her family and was famous for her desserts. Grannie was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 58 years, Elmer. She is survived by her children; Diane Mueller and Dennis Herndon (Jayne); grandchildren, Allison Spears (Sam), Tracy Roberts, and Annie Haney (Jake); great-grandchildren, Hannah (Juan), Lacy, Lane, Chase, Isla, and Ian; two sisters Irma Trew and Linda Sloan and many nieces and nephews.

A private family service is being held at a later date.
