Mama and I had a unique relationship with its ups and downs. I am so thankful that she decided to keep me and raise me alone, as my father was not an active part of our lives. She taught me several things that I hard and pull your own weight, the value of a dollar, and no one is better that anyone else by virture of race, wealth, or social status. I am so grateful for the last few years we had together. I was able to help take care of her and our relationship grew. I think she finally understood that I really loved her. I miss my Mama very much and look forward to seeing her Heaven.

Although we knew the time would come, it is so hard to say goodbye to Neva. Now she joins our other loved ones to remain forever in our hearts. I admired her direct nature and will miss our conversations. I'm happy we had many good times and time well spent with her over the years. She leaves a beautiful legacy of her precious family who will continue on in her honor. I thank God for her and for all of them.

I have many cherished memories of time spent with my Grandma Neva. She took me to the Strawberry Festival every year for my birthday and I spent many weekends with her going to auctions, playing cards, and just hanging out with my grandma. She was quite a character! The sound of her laughter and the time she spent with me will be forever remembered.
Mama, He has been honored by the love and care that you have shown Grandma! - Proverbs 31:25-31 - I love you very much, Pam
