To Nick: We met you in 2004 when we moved down here from Indiana. You, Kim and the kids welcomed us into your family. You were a brother to us and an Uncle to our kids. We spent a lot of good times on our deck talking for hours. Your laugh and awesome personality was contagious. You were always there for us! You are loved and will truly be missed....brother.

I never met Nick face to face, he was the man I called when I had a situation that needed resolution for one of “our” customers in South Dakota.
Nick’s and my relationship grew over phone calls and emails. Nick quickly became and remained my “go to guy” within our organization. I cannot count the number of times I asked Nick to call a customer, to assist me in resolving an issue.
I was stunned to learn of his sudden passing and immediately felt an emptiness in my stomach for the friend I never met personally.
Nick’s intelligence, thoughtfulness, honesty hardworking personality shined through every conversation we had. He was amazing!
I would conclude each call with Nick with a ‘thank you for his expertise and patience’. Nick would simply respond ‘we are here to help you’
Know that your friends are there for your family!

Deepest Sympathies

I have a very fond memory of Nick at my husband's (who was Nicks' cousin) funeral. After the service everyone came back to my house and Nick called me aside and I really can't remember the words that were said, but I remember the feeling that I got from those words. I felt safe and warm and although I did not know Nick that well that memory stayed with me all this time. RIP Nick. Your family should be comforted by all these beautiful and heartfelt comments...you were very loved!

I remember Nick at about age 4 or 5. He loved his moma, and grand parents.
When he grew up I lived in Temple, Texas and he in Florida, so I missed alot. He was such a giving person when he came out to take care of my mother, Ann in Texas. He did an amazing job with her. I felt bad for him, so I took him to a local pub to get him out of the house. I tried to teach him the two step. He did just fine, and he had so much fun getting out for a bit. He was such a sweet young man. Very giving and caring. I will miss him. His loss touched me deeper than I imagined. My heart is heavy for his family, and for his mother, my cousin Yvonne. I wish there was something I could do to ease the pain, but there really isn't. All I know to do is continue prayers for you all. Take comfort in that we will all see our entire family again in heaven. Knowing this brings us peace that we cannot comprehend. I love you Yvonne, and I am so sorry for your loss from this world. We will have a glorious reunion when we go home too..

Yvonne, How precious Nicky was when he was born. I wish we hadn't moved away so I could have watched him grow up. But seeing him again several times over the last few years and hearing the lovely things his friends have said about him I know you have to be proud of the fine son you raised. My heart breaks for you, his wife and children. I pray God will hold you close and dry your tears until you can remember him with a smile. Melinda

Nick, I can’t believe you’re gone so soon. I pray for your family in this difficult time. You will always be remembered as you were such a caring and kind person and cousin to my closest childhood friends(Chasity and Seth). I remember meeting you at your house in Daytona many years ago and then seeing you here in there throughout the years when I was with your cousins. You always treated your family and everyone with such care. RIP “Cool cousin” Nick

So many thoughts and memories in my head, I don't know what to say. You set the bar of what a man and person should be so high for me because, you were the best man & person I've ever been blessed enough to know and have in my life...you were the best dad a girl could ever have and I love, miss and appreciate you more than I could ever say..
