FAMANAS, Roger L., age 68, of Plant City, FL passed away on May 29, 2017. Roger was born in the Philippines and found his forever home in Plant City. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and a Registered Nurse at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills most of his career. He enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, the beach and the outdoors in general.
He was preceded in death by his both of his parents; his daughter, Yvette Lou; and his brother, Samuel Famanas. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Louella Famanas; two brothers, Ray and Victor Famanas; five sisters, Isabelle Faircloth, Esmyrna Chavez, Liz Vargas, Luz Famanas, Steneli McWilliams; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A visitation will be at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Plant City on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 10am-11am. A funeral mass will be at 11am with Father Tom Thoeni officiating.
