Ronald Kostka

Veteran Ronald Jack Kostka, 86, of Bridgton, ME, and Plant City, FL, peacefully passed away on January 6, 2025. Born on March 31, 1938, in Lowell, MA, to Jean and Jacob Kostka, Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Ronald married Diane DeCarolis on January 13, 1968, and they celebrated 57 years of marriage this coming Monday. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane; their children, Renee Kostka of Fitchburg, MA, Cheryl (Bill) Bartlett of Farmington, NH, and Jack (Darcy) Kostka, Naples, ME; and three grandchildren, Justin Gould (partner Carly Capolupo) of Salisbury, MA, Courtney (Chad) Osborne, of Farmington, NH, and Nicholas Petrizzo, of Naples, ME.

A successful insurance agent for Allstate, Ronald later owned and operated his own insurance business, RJ Kostka Insurance, leaving behind a strong professional legacy. His family was his greatest joy, and his love for them was unwavering. He was always there to support and cheer for his children and grandchildren in every milestone and event.

Ronald had a deep passion for hunting and fishing, a love he shared with his brother-in-law, Patrick DeCarolis, son Jack, and grandson Justin. Together, they continue to honor his memory by pursuing their shared love of the outdoors, forever chasing "the big one”.

He will be remembered for his steadfast devotion to family, his generosity of spirit, and his calm, reassuring presence.
