Ruby E. Harris

Ruby "Elaine" Jewell Harris, age 70, was born on October 23, 1950 in Orlando, Florida and passed away on August 24, 2021. The Lord said her purpose and her work here on earth was done and it was time to come home.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was as devoted to her pets as they were to her.

Elaine leaves behind her loving husband, Carl E. Harris, sons Donald W. Boling (Brenda) and Mark Gader (Angel) all of Plant City, Florida. Sons Carlton Eugene Harris (Renee) of Connecticut, Carl Earnest Harris (Marilyn) of Vermont and daughters Betty Pierce (Mike) of New Hampshire, and Beverly Chartier (Chris) of Vermont, brother, Art Jewell and wife Catherine of Dover, Florida; sisters, Marie Floyd and husband, Wayne of Troy, Alabama and Paula Rhoades of Troy, Alabama; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home in Plant City, Florida. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by her service at 11:00 AM.
