Ruth Carolyn Cox

Carol was beloved for the quiet strength of her presence and the steady warmth she extended to others. Her compassionate spirit and kind-hearted nature were evident in the way she cared, listened, and offered comfort, leaving a lasting imprint on family and friends alike. Above all, she was devoted—anchored by a faithful commitment to those she loved and a life shaped by consideration and grace.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Diane Langford (Harley) and Karen Pfotenhauer (John); grandchildren Linsey Harteis, Savanna Toole, Hannah Herring, Chad Langford, Britt Cox, Brandy Cox, Lauren Rodman, and Taylor Cox; and 14 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida, on August 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church on August 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
