Velma Nadine Hooker, age 91, passed away February 3, 2011. She was born in Tisdale, Kansas to the parents of Jared Dennison Moore and Lucy Desmond (Johnston). Mrs. Hooker worked at the IGA in Dover for 19 years.
She was a member of Sydney Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her Georgia Hooker, Daughter-in - Law, one sister, Ladine Pruessing, of Illinois, two grandsons, Keith Hooker (Jeannie), and Lorne Hooker (Coutney). Two great grandchildren, Anessa Biggs, and Ben Hooker.
Two Nieces, Denise Dickens, and Leone Hartzod.
One Nephew, Gail Crosby.
