

Virginia Phillips, a beloved and devoted individual, passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on August 19, 1937, in Tampa, Florida, Virginia was known for her kind-hearted, compassionate, and gentle nature. Her thoughtful and adventurous spirit, combined with a sense of humor, made her an inspirational figure to all who knew her.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Virginia was loved by so many and cherished by her family. She took great joy in her family and loved every minute spent with them.
Virginia was very proud of her belief in Jesus and was actively involved in the church, reflecting her deep commitment to her faith and community.
A visitation will be held on October 29, 2025, at Wells Memorial Funeral Home in Plant City, Florida, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the same venue. A committal service will take place at 12:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in Plant City, where Virginia will be laid to rest.
Virginia Phillips will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Phillips.
Virginia is survived by her children son Larry Phillips, daughter Deborah Piazza (Scott Piazza), son Robert Phillips and grandchildren Daniel Piazza (Jessica Jenkins), Amber Magdics (Todd Magdics) and great grandchildren Mckinlee, Oaklynn, Barrett and Caselee
She will always be in our hearts and souls.
