BROWN, Willa Faye (Thompson) joined her husband, Boyd Wilson Brown, Jr. in heavenly reunion on July 20, 2017. She was born on June 3, 1924 to Harvey and Anna Thompson in Willisburg, KY. She retired as a career Realtor from Louisville, KY to Brandon, FL in 1978. Willa Faye will be remembered for her loving spirit, faith, and sense of humor. Her prayers touched many as a member of First Baptist Church Brandon, Lindsley Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and many other charities.
Willa is survived by her two daughters, Jo Ann Brown, Judy Bryant (Gary); her son, Boyd Brown (Angie), all who reside locally; grandchildren, Morina Hunter (Robert), Jonah Brown, James Bryant (Samantha); four great grandchildren, Calla and Robert Hunter and Marcus and Mackenzie Bryant.
A Christian graveside service will be conducted at 2:00pm on July 24th at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, Brandon, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Florida Baptist Children’s Home.
