OBITUARY ADAM (CZERKAWSKI) CARTER Died, at age ninety, of a heart attack on Friday, June 18 at St. Anne's Hospital. He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Kathleen Farrow. He is survived by his older sister, Aniela Malchow. Wanda Wagner, his younger sister, died recently. Adam, a talented photographer, worked for 30 years at Hayward Studios. He was a loving husband and father. Tragically his only child, Thomas Adam, died in October 2006. He will be greatly missed by his wife, his daughter-in-law, Louise Jarrett and his grandchildren, Emlyn and Damon. Adam will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, but especially by his cousins, nephews and nieces. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and volunteers at St. Anne's Hospital where Adam received exemplary care and compassion for 14 years. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 30 at 1 p.m. at A reception will follow immediately afterwards at the funeral home. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Tom Carter.
