A MESSAGE FROM THE FAMILY
Given the exceptional situation we are currently experiencing, due to a pandemic, it is still possible to receive condolences at the funeral home, but under the respect of the recommendations of the government, which are as follow: - Only 25 people, determined beforehand by the family, are allowed; - Respect the 2 meters of social distancing at all times; - Respect the hygiene instructions (hand washing); - Wearing a mask is mandatory; - No one who has traveled in the past few weeks be present; - No one with a symptom of COVID-19 be present. Compte tenu de la situation exceptionnelle que nous vivons actuellement, pour cause de pandémie, il est toujours possible de recevoir les condoléances au salon funéraire, mais sous le respect des recommandations du gouvernement, qui sont les suivantes : - Seulement 25 personnes, déterminées à l’avance par la famille, sont autorisées; - Le respect du 2 mètres de distanciation sociale en tout temps; - Le respect des consignes d’hygiène (lavage des mains); - Le port du masque est obligatoire; - Qu’aucune personne ayant voyagé dans les dernières semaines ne soit présente; - Qu’aucune personne présentant un symptôme de la COVID-19 ne soit présente.

Alfred Stewart was born in Portland, Jamaica, May 1st 1939. He peacefully passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital, March 8th 2021.

Alfred is predeceased by Mom and Dad (Beryl & Bill), and sister Hyacinth. Beloved big brother to Dorothy, Norman, Lona (Don), Victor, Maurice, Bilal and Joy. Father to Alfonzo & Alex, and granddad to Cali. Left to cherish his memory are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, as well as his special friends Pearl and Edith and their family, all residing in Canada, USA, UK and Jamaica.

Due to the COVID restrictions, a private service will be held by invitation only on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021. A memorial will be held at a later date when family and friends can gather safely.
