With great sadness we announce the passing of Claudette at the Montfort Hospital on April 30, 2021. Survived by her beloved husband Stephen, daughter Chantal (Peter), siblings Robert (Judith) (Diane deceased), Armande (Robert deceased) and Daniel (Guylaine). Very proud grandmother to Audrey, Evelyn and Noah. Predeceased by parents Rene and Charlotte, siblings Michel (Wendy) and Armand. Claudette will be missed by many nephews, nieces and friends.
Claudette was a warm, loving person, full of life, and always devoted to her family. As a youth she was an accomplished swimmer and diver. Following retirement from her lengthy financial services career, she devoted several years to helping others as a “candy striper” volunteer at Bruyere Hospital. Claudette was also a “master of dates” and remembered all her family and friends’ important events.
A private service was held at Notre-Dame Cathedral (Ottawa) and a Private Celebration of Life will follow at a later date (Montreal).
