SLESSOR, Donald John 1963 - 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Slessor on September 20, 2017 at the age of 53. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Donald immigrated to Montreal in 1997 and made Pointe Claire his family home for 20 years. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Kim and Chloe, their mother Sally Goodman, his sister Cath and friends and colleagues around the world. He had a life well lived. He loved a cold Heineken, a good single malt, sailing on the lake, playing guitar, the Habs, the Jays, Aberdeen FC and stargazing in Vermont. He was deeply spiritual and lives on in the Universe and in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him. His funeral service will take place at the Church of Saint John the Baptist, 233 Ste-Claire Avenue, Pointe Claire at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
