Elaine DesRosiers

On February 10th, after a long courageous battle with cancer, Elaine left us to be an angel in heaven. No words can express how much she will be missed by her husband Carl (Legault) and her 4 beautiful children Sarah, Benjamin, Rachel and Nicholas. Elaine will also be very sadly missed by her very loving parents Philippe and Georgette (née Gagné). Elaine also leaves behind many other cherished friends and loving family members. Our family would like to very kindly thank all the beautiful angels from the Cancer Care Unit on the 3rd floor and the Oncology and Palliative Care unit on 5-Main (both units of St Mary's Hospital Centre). In our thanks we include all the doctors, nurses, and volunteers that helped care for Elaine, there are so many of you beautiful warriors, Thank you. Special thanks to Dr. Adrian Langleben who took every conceivable measure for Elaine to spend as much time with her babies as possible. Visitation will be at Collins Clark Funeral Home (222 Autoroute 20, corner Cartier, Pointe Claire) on Wednesday February 13th from 4pm-9pm and Thursday from 9am-11am. Service will be at 11am Thursday, February 14th at Paroise St Joachim, 2 Ste-Anne in Pointe Claire. The family will receive all at a reception at the Beaconsfield Library Annex at 303 Beaconsfield Blvd following the service. Elaine has requested that people dress in vibrant colors for visitation and service. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Terry Fox Foundation or St Mary's Hospital Foundation, Cancer Care would be appreciated.
