Peacefully in her own home after a full life well lived. Devoted wife of Ken who predeceased her on January 2, 1999 and by her parents and by her sister in her infancy.
Betty was born and brought up in Verdun, Quebec and went on to a career with Nortel before moving to Hudson with Ken 40 years ago. She loved her friends, her church and her garden.
She will be sorely missed by her goddaughter, Anne Barlow Roney and her cousin Sheana Dade. They and Betty’s close friends extend their sincere thanks to the NOVA Hudson nurses Judy, Betty, Brenda and Wanda, her caregivers Jill, Ampy, Anna, Barb, Debbie, Donna, Janice, Judith, Katie, Linda E, Linda W, Sam, Susan & Vicky and the professionals at Hudson Medi-Centre, particularly Dr. Richard Poole, all who cared for Betty at her home in Hudson for the past three years.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Collins Clarke McGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, QC H9S 3X6 at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 2nd, 2019 which will be followed by a reception there.
In lieu of flowers, donations to NOVA Hudson would be greatly appreciated.
