We have been blessed to have known Mrs. MacLean. We were neighbours at Summerhill complex and got to know her when we rented her outdoor parking space. That meeting led to her joining us on New Year's Eve to watch the hockey game, shopping for flowers at the Marché, and sharing a pizza dinner....just some of our best memories of time spent with her. Indeed a wonderful person. She definitely had a way of making you feel special; she genuinely cared about people and remembered things you told her and asked about them months later. We always laughed when we spent time together. An amazing lady. we are fortunate to have had the pleasure to know. 
Our deepest sympathies, Scott, on your mom's passing. Each time we spoke she would tell me how lucky she was to have you and how you took such great care of her. God bless you and your family.

I am very sorry to have missed Mrs. McClain's memorial service. I had the honnor and great pleasure to have dressed Evelyn's hair for over one year. She was clever, proud and had a lot of class. I am upset that she is no longer with us, and her wonderful familly and friends. Goodbye Evelyn. With great respect Marysa.

Adieux Evelyn, une personne qui a pris une grande place dans nos vies. Une belle- mère attentionnée et une grand-mère extraordinaire, pleine de joie et d'amour pour tous ceux qui l'entourait. Auntie Evelyn was much loved by my siblings and I growing up in Dorval. We lost our parents relatively young and she would often be telling us stories of them.....parties at Lake Clear Inn, bear encounters, etc.  We loved to relive the moments with her.
She was always so kind, interested and caring. And fun, what a gal! She was special. Whether it was a swim in the lake, a boat ride or a hike to the frog pond, she was always up for it. 
She  was supremely good natured and with a few  subtle words often showed  me the way through difficult life events. I will always keep so many wonderful memories of her close to my heart.

Summers at the cottage... Auntie Evelyn let me stay up to watch Johnny Carson and gave me ginger ale in a wine glass! Those nights were special. Every moment with her was precious. You will be missed, dear Auntie, greatly missed.

A special person to say the least. Hitting golf balls into Lake Clear with Ev on my honeymoon was one of a few lasting memories.Glimpses into the childhood and beyond of a grandfather that passed when I was very young. 

A person I will always remember..Always happy and positive with a wonderful laugh and sense of humour.

I have been so blessed to know this wonderful woman during the last few months of her life.  One question she used to always ask me was 'What would we do without you Wanda?'  And I ask myself that now ....'what will we do without you Granny?'  Will miss you .... xo
