Dear Dean & Anne,

It's hard to believe that Stan is gone. I saw him a short time ago and he looked in fine form.
We played ball together in the Beaconsfield Slo Pitch league  for many years. Stan was a franchise player who seemed if anything to get better as he aged. He was a true gentleman but a driven competitor.
I was a great admirer of his drive and determination to win but not at the expense of civility.
My sincere condolences to Dean and the family.
