OBITUARY

Grace Margaret (Graham) Jardine

With great sadness, we announce that Grace passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on May 9, 2019 at the Villages of Tansley Woods nursing home in Burlington, Ontario. Grace, beloved wife of the late Adam Campbell Jardine, dear mother of Graham (Margaret); loving and proud grandmother of Laura (Ryan) and Cheryl (David) and caring great grandmother of Keira & Zoe and Blake & Evan, the lights of her life.

Grace was predeceased by her brother Bruce Graham and his wife Frankie, Grace’s brother-in-law Donald Jardine and his wife Pearl, Grace’s nephews Blair Graham and Shawn Jardine and Grace’s cousin Gloria Graham. Grace is survived by nieces Lesley Graham Matheson, Donna Jardine Cunningham and their families and is fondly remembered by her extended family, friends and caregivers.

Grace was born and lived most of her life in the Montreal area. She retired from the Lakeshore School Board and moved to Oakville to be closer to her son and family. She will be missed and remembered for her kind, loving and appreciative nature. She always loved a good game of Scrabble with friends or family.

Visitation on Friday, May 17 at 12:30 pm with a service to follow at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White in Pointe Claire, then a private burial at Mt. Royal Cemetery in Montreal. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

Grace was my companion at the dining room table where we both lived and I appreciated her company. I miss her presence very ,much and send my sympathy to her family at this time.
