With great sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Harriet on September 16, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of 58 years, to the late Frederick Mullins. Devoted mother to Philip (Linda), Dennis (Susan) and Patricia (Andrew). Treasured grandmother to Kimberley, Scott, Vincent, Mitchell and Bradley. Cherished sister of Ruby Ness and deceased brothers Harold and Valbert Eastman. Harriet was a born athlete excelling in all sports especially softball, skating and lawn bowling. She was particularly proud of being an instructor to blind bowlers. She faced her last days with a sense of humor, courage and dignity. Thank you to the staff of the CHSLD West Island Manor for their support and care during her time at the residence. Visitation will be September 30, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. followed by a service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception will be held following the service.
