Passed peacefully into the arms of the angels at the Lakeshore General Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2014. Predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Lynn. Loving father to Suzanne (Lionel) and Marc (Karen). Grandfather of Ashley (Alessandro), Lizette (Ted), Monique (Mark). Two special great-grandchildren Lily and Owen. Heartfelt thanks go out to all the dedicated and caring nurses and doctors at Lakeshore who took such good care of him and made his last hours easier. Special thanks to Dr. Jacobson, Dr. Bounatiro, Dr. Moghrabi, Dr. Mayer and Dr. Iancu. To his angel, Sara, we cannot put into words what you meant to him. To Gloria and her crew from Nova, God bless you all. He leaves behind his loving nieces and nephew, his sister-in-law Anne and many friends from across Canada. Visitation will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Chapel Service at 1:00 p.m. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and would be greatly appreciated
