

Isabel was the daughter of the late Robert Morrison and Violet Kerr and was born in Lachute, Quebec where she lived, worked and raised her family. Predeceased by her husband Gaetan Pilon in 1974, Isabel later met and married Joseph J. Tavares of Lowell, Massachusetts where they lived happily for 29 years until his death in 2007. Isabel remained in Lowell until advanced age and declining health required her to return to Quebec to be close to family.
Isabel was predeceased by her son, Steven Pilon, sisters, Eva Charlotte Cooke, Eileen Morrison, Roberta (Bertie) Langille, Geraldine Williams, and brother Kenneth Morrison. She is survived by her three children, Sheila Roy (Pierre), Diane Anderson and her son Kenny Pilon; four grandchildren, Shaun Anderson, Stefanie Anderson, Ryan O’Toole, Stephen O’Toole, great-grandson, Nolan O’Toole; in-laws Lorraine Pilon Boyd (Trenton) of Mirabel, QC, Janice Tavares of Dracut, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Heartfelt gratitude to the staff at CHSLD Bayview who cared for Isabel these past few months.
Many who have come to know Isabel while she resided in Pointe Claire will remember her for her great love of music, yodeling and dance.
In honor, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Interment at a later date, Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell, Massachusetts, where Isabel will join her beloved Joe.
