

Jim was born in Montreal November 18, 1943. To his parents William and
Beverley (Guess) Campbell. He married his beloved Diane (Babe) (Smithson) in 1975 and was happily married for 47 years. Diane, their daughter Alexandra, her husband Matthew Londesborough and his grandchildren Remy and Charlie were the love of his life that made his eyes sparkle.
He is survived by Diane , his sister Joan (Campbell) LeVasseur and brother Gary
Campbell . His sister in law Nicole Pelchat also his sister-in-law Lynda (NS),pre
deceased by his brother in law Jim Christie, his sister in law Elaine (BC),
brother-in-law Jim (Ont) plus many nieces and nephews.
Jim was brought up in the Town of Mount Royal where he went to school and played on the hockey team, Also enjoying back alley poker games which he enjoyed throughout out his life playing the pokies as a hobby.
Jim qualified as an CMA and went on to work for his mentor Josef Kuchar at Recochem in 1978 which became such big part of all our lives, eventually
owning the Company with colleagues who became life long friends.
He retired in 2014 and started his new Florida Golf life in Stoneybrook meeting many new people who quickly became our Stoneybrook family.
This was Jim's “happy place” and he felt deeply about the life they shared
there. They loved to travel, he and Diane had many wonderful adventures seeing the World, including many trips annually with family and friends. Many of which, their children would join them from around the globe.
Jim and Diane were well know for their wonderful hospitality. They were rarely alone and very often surrounded by their many friends and family enjoying food, drink and lots of laughter.
Jim was well known for his unique perspective of Story telling and breaking out with some impromptu Kareoke with his good friend Wally.
We will all miss him dearly.

We will be holding a memorial to Honour Jim and to share stories at Windmill Heights Golf Club in île Perrot, Québec on Friday May 27th, 2022 from 3 pm to 5 pm.
