

Jean was born in Port Glasgow, Scotland, November 25 ,1920 to James McCorkell and Mary Hyslop. Devoted wife for 67 years to the late William Hague, deceased 2008. Loving mother to sons Bill (Janet), and Jim (Lorraine), mother-in-law to Bill’s late wife, Kathie; sister to predeceased brothers, James (Phyllis), and William (Nila). “Nanny”, as she was known to the grandkids and others, will always be remembered by her four adoring grandchildren; Christian, Jennifer, Kirsten, and James. Nanny also leaves behind six great grandchildren; Reagyn, Carter, Fintan, Benjamin, Theodor, and Jane, and nephews, John, Brian, Jim, Derrek and Gary.
Jean loved her family with a fierce devotion, was an incredible cook, adored her pets, thoroughly enjoyed a good party, and ALWAYS spoke her mind. Jean experienced much happiness and good times with her Bill at their cherished country house in La Minerve, where they spent the entire summer and fall seasons of each year, enjoying retirement, entertaining family, friends, and neighbors.Their door was always open.
