Jeanot, lot's of people knew him as Johnny, was loved by all. Loved having people and friends around him all the time, especially for supper. Loved music and dancing, especially with Charles Aznavour.
He grew up in Lebanon and part of his schooling was in Paris. There was a lot of French Parisian lifestyle ways he followed. Supper followed by wine and cheese. Wine and cheese with baguettes and friends and family would be enough for him as a meal.
He met my Mother Rita in Syria and they married September 23 1963.
They made the voyage to Canada in Toronto in 1969 and I was born January 1970. This was a very difficult decision, but it was for my future benefit, and very thankful. Wars and economic situations helped with the decision.
He has been retired since the late 90s and worked as a major appliance repair person and owned his own shop in the 1980s. All of his clients appreciated his honest work.
Rita and Jeanot moved to Montreal 2.5 years ago, to be closer to me and their Grandchildren. To the end, he loved playing backgammon and singing with them, and sharing stories.
Jeanot lived the longest of his siblings, and enjoyed the simple things in live, never into materialistic possessions.
With love and will me missed.
