It is with profound sadness that I have learnt of the passing of Mrs. Kolodziej. She was a wonderful lady, motherly and kind hearted. As a teenager, I have fond memories as she was always courteous and inviting, putting up with the antics and partying of young guys in a house full of girls. Even so, we were always met with open arms and a beautiful smile.
Mrs Kolodziej has perhaps left this world but not without leaving behind an endearing memory to all who had an opportunity to know her.
My sincere condolences to all the Kolodziej family

My mum and I are so sad to hear about your dear mother's passing. We are still shocked as she had us for dinner the evening we left on our move to Alberta. Your family was fortunate to have been loved by this angel here and forever in heaven. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Yola, I am so very sorry to hear about your mom. I have very fond memories of times spent at your place as young teens. Your basement was a true playground and hangout for all, and your mom always welcomed the gatherings. Moms are the heart of the home, and your mom was a true example of that. My condolences to all your sisters and their families as well.

Our most sincere condolences in the loss of such a beautiful lady. The love she had for her family showed in her lovely smile. She always had a kind word for everyone. How she endured,(or maybe even enjoyed) all those basement parties when we were teenager bring back fond memories. She was Mama Kolodziej.
May her love live in your hearts forever.
She will be missed.
Love,
Grace and Norm

Pani Kolodziej: Thank you for the many kindnesses you showed me over the almost 50 years I have known you. I will never forget your hospitality (a sandwich and a cup of tea), the twinkle in your eye when you laughed and the many conversations we had in the country in earlier times.
Good memories are what we leave behind and you have left a legion of them. You created a family that loves to spend time together, and that legacy of love is worth more than the greatest treasure. I saw it again this summer in the country: the Kolodziej family meals, the dancing, the swimming at the lake, the playful teasing, and the grandchildren spending time together. The love and fellowship that you helped to create must have made you very proud, happy and fulfilled.
I was very happy to have spent about 45 minutes alone with Pani Kolodziej on the day the family went to the Brome County Fair. Of course, she offered me a cup of tea and asked me if I was hungry. We reminisced some and we laughed some. The time passed quickly and I was thankful for that visit.
I extend my deepest condolences to the entire extended Kolodziej family, and especially to Anusia, Irena, Basia and Jola. You are all in my thoughts. I will always see the best of your mother in each and every one of you.

Mama Kolodziej will be missed by us all.
We loved her very much.
The country place will never be the same without her smiling face and kind, wise words.
What a jewel she was.
We'll never forget sitting and laughing in front of the many summer bonfires over the years at the Kolodziej homestead.
Her presence at these gatherings was always very comfortable while she passively observed and refereed our antics and happy, crazy conversations.
Much love to the Kolodziej clan.
Tina and Ted.

It was such a surprise to us when we heard your mother had passed away. Mrs. Kolodziej will be remembered for her warmth and kindness to everyone she met. She always had a smile, and a cup of tea to greet you. I remember those warm summer evenings when we used to sit at the kitchen table sipping our tea and playing cards. She was very special to me.
Please be comforted by the thought that many people hold fond memories of your mother. She touched all their lives.
To quote from Kahil Gibran - "When you are sorrowful, look into your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight." While we cannot pay our respects in person, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
