I am so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing.  Aside from him being a great friend to my dad, Ric, I have my own memories of many laughs with Comrade Kevin.   He had a huge heart and an even bigger personality.  

With  dad's dementia, we have unfortunately lost contact with the Legion community, and have just heard the news now, my apologies for the lateness of this note.  The only upside of dementia is that dad will be spared the heart ache of knowing his good friend has been lost.   

Cheers Kevin, and thank you for all the help and support you provided over the years.

Dear Keith, Doreen and family,

I was saddened to learn of Kevin’s passing. I have many good memories of him – growing up on Coolbrook Av. and around MacDonald Park, the early days of the MUCPD, at your police graduation in Peel Region, and later at social events when Kevin was working at the Dorval station. Always a character, congenial, and capable of regaling anyone with his colorful stories. He will be fondly remembered as a ‘Snowdon boy’ who did well.

For only a short time (3 Years) I have known Kevin, I gathered all the good points about the Man, I saw a good father Husband, and a good leader.  I felt great to have had the pleasure of being in his company, missing  a gentleman like that is hard on the heart of friends.

Doreen, Keith, Patrick and family, My deepest sympathies on the passing of Kevin. I had the honour having a cops cop  by my side
for so many years. There was those moments of course when our duties took us  into  many  serious dark areas that police offers do not share with many but when we meet we knew we had been down that road together. 

Thankfully many other days we enjoyed., the happier times, 
golf with the boys from the west end, serious staff meetings that did not mean a darn thing, that usually finished at the DT.    

When its comes to giving to others Kervin wrote the book.

I met Kevin 8 years ago at the Falcon Golf Course in Hudson. We both work as Marshalls on the course. In no time at all we became very efficient partners managing the pace of play on the course and in no time at all became friends.

Kevin was known for his great sense of humour, very friendly to all and easy going.

There were times that situations would come up with clients would get out of hands on the course. Kevin was designated to go out and deal with situation. He would put on his Sheriffs hat and badge and away he went. He would be back in 20 minutes and say problem solve. The best part was when he shared with the group what his approach was. It was hilarious , he had everyone in tears. 

Kevin you will be missed but not forgotten. My sincere condolences to Doreen and family.

Kevin and I worked together for many years together at THE FALCON golf club where our relationship became more like pals rather than colleagues at work.He always had some very funny anecdotes 
from when he was with the MUC and he had a lot McCreadyisms for which he was famous for! I got to join ''his'' Legion #91 Churchill Branch in Ste-Anne-De-Bellevue because of him,where he was the President for several years/ terms and was the presiding President right up to his sad passing on March 6th.He was a jovial character and he enjoyed a beverage or two.He will be missed,but never forgotten,we have lost a good man! My sincerest condolences go out to Doreen and the whole family!
