Lilian Edith Merrifield, nee Payne, wife of the late William Merrifield and sister of the late Jean Smith, passed away in peace and dignity on April 26, 2015 at the great age of 91 at the Prescott Russell Residence in Hawkesbury. Mum was an amazing and well-loved woman her entire life. She leaves to mourn her sons Bill (Dawn) of Saint John, New Brunswick, and Peter (Diane) of London, Ontario, and her daughter Susan (Mike) of St- Lazare, Quebec, many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. An employee of the Royal Bank, she was a friend to all and lived her many years surrounded by much love and family. Thank you to the Prescott Russell family of caregivers who became part of our lives through their exceptional and loving care of her. Please join us in the Celebration of her Life with Visitation on Sunday, May 3, 2015 2 p.m.- 5 p.m., and 7 p.m.- 10 p.m. Funeral to follow on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Visitation an hour prior. She is resting at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home situated at 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe- Claire, Quebec, H9S 3X6. Interment at Mount Royal.
