So sad to hear that Mavis passed away . I met Mavis many years ago when she worked at Holt Renfrew. We became good friends, and shared many great moments together. Her spirit and smile brought lots of joy to all. She will be sadly missed.

Mavis Hall Bracken or as I knew her, "Auntie Mavis."  You were there in the delivery room when I was born and held me a few minutes afterwards, even before my Mom.  As I grew up, every brithday, Christmas and most important school events, you were there.  Christmas was always special but also the worst because when it came time for the turnip, I refused to eat it every time until she said, "Ryan Vincent  Burkinshaw, you had better eat your turnip if you want to have the mince meat tarts that I made for you and play with your toys!"  Ever since then I have always eaten my turnip and still will as this memory runs through my head. 

I will always remember the great memories she brought to all of us, whether it was her smile or just the outfit that she was wearing.  Most of you have known Autnie Mavis longer than I have, but for me, Auntie Mavis was always a kind, caring, loving and funny person to be around.  She would always cheer you up if you were down.  Her smile would give you that warm, fuzzy feeling every time you looked at her.  All of these memories that I have with her wll never leave me, in fact, they will always come back to me.

I would like to thank her for all of these great memories that I have and may you rest in peace Auntie Mavis.  You will always be with us because you are now our New Guardian Angel. Spread your wings and fly..........  I LOVE YOU!

GodSpeed Auntie Mavis, you were taken so suddenly, we are still in shock. Our hearts go out to Cindy and Randy,as well as all who knew and loved her, a Moms love is all encompassing and lingers forever.

Our Sincere Condolences to the Family and Friends of Mavis.  We were very sadden by her passing. She was one of our Dunton High School chums, we also had great fun in Rawdon.  We had a chance to meet up with her at a small re-union I arranged in Montreal, we are so happy that we were able to see her then. It is with a heavy heart that we say our "Goodbyes" to her till we meet again.
