Peter Beaton

Peter was the cherished son of Betty (nee O'Brien) and the late Bruce Beaton. Peter will be remembered by all who knew and loved him as a kind, quick-witted soul who enjoyed being with people and having a good time. He travelled to many of his favourite sporting events, including the Superbowl, the Kentucky Derby and the Indianapolis 500. However, many of his favourite stories involved simply being with his favourite people.

Peter was born in Montreal but spent most of his life in Vancouver, British Columbia. Despite this, he remained loyal to the Montreal Canadians Hockey team throughout his life.

Peter recently retired from the City Parks and Recreation Department after 36 Years. After his retirement, Peter made it a point to make it back to Montreal as often as possible, and we are grateful we had this extra time together.

Our family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and spiritual guidance counsellors of the Royal Victoria ICU department for the care they showed Peter and the support they showed our family.

Visitation for Peter will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following the visitation will be a chapel service at 1:00 PM at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, Quebec H9S 3X6.
