Peter was greatly loved by his family and friends during his life. His mischievous ways were a constant source of fun to all. He enjoyed every adventure to the fullest and is an example of a life well lived. He was a loving husband for 61 years to Sylvia and a proud father to daughter Laurie (Kevin) and son Gordon (Diane) followed by 6 grand children - Cameron, Greg, Alexander, Logan, Ella, and Kiera whom he loved dearly!
Peter was raised in the Town of Mount Royal and had one brother, Russell (father to Monica, Andrea, Michelle, and Eric). He always loved to discover and fix things and soon discovered his calling to become a mechanical engineer.
Prior to graduating from McGill Engineering, Peter was a radar technician with the RCAF and afterwards got his pilot’s license with the funding of the federal government, something he was proud of.
Peter lived a full and productive life. After years in sales, he formed his own company, Scott Industrial, supplying and servicing pumps in the industrial sector and successfully growing this business over many years.
He loved planes, boats, cars, and skiing as well as nature. He also, as everyone knew, loved a party. Peter will be missed by all who got to know him as he was a great and kind man.
A family gravesite service was held at Lakeview Cemetery in Pointe-Claire.
May he rest in peace.
