Robert Long

May 20, 1962June 19, 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the tragic and sudden passing of Robert Kenneth Long on Friday, June 19, 2020 at the age of 58.

Predeceased by his parents, William and Daphne (Dennison) Long. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Heather Cameron; his daughter Emily and son Cameron. He is also survived by his brother Bruce, brother-in-law Stuart Cameron (Liann Kelly), nephew Kyle Cameron and loving father-in-law Evans Cameron whom he called Dad.

Robert was a hardworking individual who lived his life to the fullest with great pride for his family. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father and brother. As a passionate, kind and quiet man, it was not hard for anyone to recognize how he celebrated life by spending time with his family and his other love; the game of golf.

Robert was taken too soon, but his legacy will remain a bright light for many.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for all the support and compassion they have received during this devastating time.

Robert's visitation and funeral will be announced at a later date.

Dear Heather, Emily and Cameron,

I’ve been struggling to find the words to express my sorrow after hearing about this tragedy. I’ve come to find that there really are none.

Heather, I’ve never forgotten your kindness when you came to the house to change little Patrick’s dressings all those years ago. I can’t help but imagine that you’re surrounded by people who will repay the kindness you’ve shown them over the years as well.

May the memories of happy moments see you all through these trying times.

Much love,

Chris, Randall, Kyra and Patrick
