Suzanne Marie Morin was born on February 26th, 1962. Daughter of Patricia Norris and Jean-Albert Morin, she grew up in Lasalle and spent many of her childhood days in Two Mountains at the home of her aunt Bev where the family would congregate.
She married Michael Buonvino on May 17th, 1986, and they built a home in Pincourt where they would live for the rest of her life. After battling ovarian cancer for two and a half years, Suzanne passed away in her home on June 20th, 2023, surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Marissa (Louis), granddaughters Gabrielle and Kimberly, and a beloved ensemble of cousins, nephews, nieces, and in-laws. She was a talented singer, a gifted writer, and an irreplaceable friend. Many will be forever reminded of her at the sight of a frog, which she collected hundreds of over her lifetime, or by the sound of a broadway tune.
Throughout her varied fields of work, Suzanne maintained a special commitment to delivering joy and assistance to those in need. In her private life she most loved spending time with her family, in any and all forms. From cuddling on the couch with her husband, to city adventures with her daughter, to tequila and karaoke parties with the whole gang - her warm hugs, listening ear, and contagious smile could always be counted on. The love she had for her family was infinite, and anyone who knew her well can attest to this : if love were enough, she never would have left.
A celebration of Suzanne's life will be held on Sunday, July 16th, 2023 at the Omni Center in Pincourt (375 Boulevard Cardinal Léger) from 12:00 'till 4:30 (with tributes to be presented between 1:00 and 2:00 followed by refreshments).
