Tom was born on December 19, 1944 in Montreal, where he lived for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, his sister, Mary-Ann and his mother, Lucille.
He is survived by his children Lorraine (Rodrigo), Andrew (Hajer) and Denise (Gustavo); grandchildren Lucas, Gabriel, Olivia, Rayan and Zach; siblings Robert (Joanne), Frances, Bill (Lina), Gerard (Janet) and Stephen (Shelley Mae); and several nieces and nephews.
Tom had an unrelenting passion for knowledge, and was a self-taught expert in world history, Eastern philosophy and all musical genres. He also greatly valued his time as a volunteer fireman for the Roxboro Fire Department. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, great stories, and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
