First born of Mr. Lumodieu Francois and Mrs. Elmina Lubreus, she has lived an exemplary life of service with dignity and faith. Having lived most of her life in Haiti, she spent the last two decades of her life in Miramar, Florida surrounded by a large family that honored and adored her.
She was a self-taught businesswoman, who initiated and ran several small businesses in Haiti alongside her husband. However, most of her time was spent dedicated to helping her family by raising, nurturing, and caring for many of her siblings, their children and grandchildren. Her kindness and sense of responsibility propelled her to play the role of mother to many in her family and her community. She has indeed shaped many lives with healthy discipline, fervent energy, and gracious love.
She is survived by her husband, Dieuseul Yassainte, her siblings: Mathilde I Francois Pinchinat, Manotte Francois Thomas and Rev Jean Daniel Francois. She is survived by her four adopted children: Malherbe Pinchinat, Kepler Pinchinat, Myrca Pinchinat Smith and Kerene Pinchinat who she loved and cherished beyond measures, her many nieces and nephews, her friends, her church family especially her esteem group “Bateau”.
She was an active member in church both in Haiti and in Florida. Her church community was simply an extension of her family she served diligently in many capacities including missional work, and sacrificial Christian love.
May her bright light continue to shine!
