June 29, 1939 to February 25, 2021
Antoinette attended Ridgewood High School in New Jersey where she first was called by the nickname of Toni that we all came to call her from then on.
She went into secretarial work at Fairbanks Morse for four years then onto IBM for over 30 years. She became an executive secretary at IBM’s corporate office in Armonk, New York where she received numerous awards for excellent work.
When given the chance she accepted an offer to be transferred to IBM’s new office in Boca Raton, Florida. She moved to Coconut Creek where she met many new friends.
She was one of the first people to use a computer when the first word processor was developed by IBM and she became very proficient at using it. Toni was offered early retirement from IBM which she took to go onto other challenges. She went on to become a receptionist at Henderson Clinic for many years.
Throughout her life she was very involved in the Catholic Church and volunteered at Sunday school programs. She also volunteered at North Ridge Hospital.
Toni suffered from Multiple Sclerosis for the last thirty years of her life but she never let it diminish her joy of life or her capacity to help others.
The family is requesting that in Lieu of flowers please donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate
