The funeral service will be held at 11am on July 31, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Pompano Beach. Visitation will be held on July 30, 2014 from 4-8pm at forest lawn. Arlene was born in Newark, New Jersey on Sept 17, 1938 and later moved to Miami Florida. From Miami she moved with her husband and children to Lighthouse point Florida where they raised there children. Later they moved to Lake Placid, FL Arlene was a homemaker and enjoyed her friends and family. Arlene was widowed by her husband Warren Bernard and is survived by her three daughters Dolores Buie, Melody Vandiver, and Rachel Vandiver. She has 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
