Bernice was born in Brainerd, Minnesota. After meeting her husband Elmer they moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where they lived most of their married life. They then moved back to Brainerd, Minnesota to retire at their lake home on Love lake. She then moved to Florida to live with her Daughter and Son in Law, Sharon and Steve where she spent her remaining days.
Bernice enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, California, Minnesota, and Oregon throughout the years to see the country and visit family and friends as much as possible. After moving to Florida she started going to a ( lively ) Senior Center twice a week to get out of the house where she developed some wonderful friendships that she held close to her heart and gave her something to look forward to every week. She also enjoyed going to the beach on weekends with Sharon, Steve, and Mario where she would be pushed in the wheelchair on the boardwalk to listen to music, do some shopping and get a bite to eat. Her only regrets were that she could not make it back to Alaska one more time and that she was not well enough to travel to Oregon to see her latest great great grandson Ridge.
Her pretty blue eyes will be missed by all !! Forever in our Hearts, We love you Mother, AKA ,Mumzie, Mama, Grammie, and Grammy.
