Betty McBride

Betty Maxine McBride, 86, passed away on July 25, 2013 in Pompano Beach. She was born May 7, 1927 in Columbus, Indiana to Orville and Helen ( Jordan ) Ricketts. Betty grew up in Columbus and graduated from cosmetology school and became a licensed beautician. She married Charles McBride on March 2, 1958 and they lived in Terre Haute, IN until 1988 when they retired and moved to Margate, FL.

She enjoyed bowling, golf, movies, water aerobics and playing cards.

Betty is survived by her husband Charles, her daughter Terry, her niece Sandy ( and her husband Monte ), her nephew Lee ( and his wife Cari ) and 5 great nieces and nephews and 12 great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Dorothy and her brother Orville.

A memorial service will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL at 2:00 pm on August 3, 2013.
