Bev and I worked at Our Lady of Lourdes together back in 1977-78. She took my class for art and I took hers for music. Grease became the holiday show. Think sister and/or monsignor were not full of joy about that. Kids loved it though. It was my first teaching job and your mom was always there to answer my questions. I remember her ability to genuflect like no one else. But the greatest thing was you could always have a genuine belly laugh with Bev. I also cherish two of her paintings, one of a pier, maybe Hoboken and one nature (trees) one. We kept in touch over the years. I remember how much strain she was under when Rob was flying in the Gulf War too. She had a genuine heart for people. She will be truly missed.
