Brenda Skirvin

Brenda Kay Breeden Skirvin, 74, Of Pompano Beach, FL was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who passed from this life on Monday, August 1, 2016. She was born in Gallatin County, KY on August 6, 1941 to the late Harry Louis and Dorothy Wallace Breeden. Brenda was wed to William (Bill) Skirvin on March 19, 1961. to this union was born two sons. They are William Martin (Melinda) Skirvin and Rodney Allen (Lisa) Skirvin . Brenda was a retired nurse. She will always be remembered for her laughter and her love of people. Brenda will also be remembered for her delicious cookies which she baked with love and prayer to give away to cheer someone. Brenda leaves behind her husband and two sons as well ad grandsons Garrett, Joshua, and Alex. Also a brother, Tom Breeden of Smithfield, KY and sisters Dorothy Crider, Darlene Brown, and Karen Wilson, all of Warsaw, KY. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Strawder and William Breeden and sisters, Bonnie, Betty and Willena Breeden. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Brenda, a prayer warrior and faithful member of Cooper City Apostolic Church, Cooper City, FL, loved her pastor and church family. Her Special aura and presence will be missed by all. Brenda will forever be cherished and remembered as a loving wife, and mother, precious grandmother, sister and aunt. Her family is comforted by the knowledge that she lived a Christ filled life and is now asleep, resting in Jesus until the dead in Christ shall rise and we shall meet again.
