

Beloved husband, father and friend Carmine "Tommy" Franco, 96, of Pompano Beach Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 15th 2022. Tommy was born in North Bergen, New Jersey on February 27,1926. He served in the Army in World War II in Normandy with 385th infantry and received the good conduct victory medal. Moved to Coney Island, New York in 1950 where he and h is parents opened a grocery store and meat market called "Franco's Superette". He met Mary Duggan in 1951 and was married on June 7,1952. He moved to Pompano Beach, FL in December of 1970.
Tommy was liked by all and loved by those who knew him best. He loved horses, his favorite pastime was going tot the race track and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Mary, his son Thomas Franco (Christine), John Franco (Johanna), MaryAnne Schnieder (John), Rosemary Monaco and 7 grandchildren, Diana, Joseph, Anja, Brita, Caroline, Salvatore and Regina.
